Job summary:

Within Supply Chain the Planning Department is responsible for synchronizing and optimizing flows of goods with suppliers, co-makes, production, warehouses, customers and inter-companies. To do so, this department is structured around 3 groups: - Demand Planning Group for the consolidation of accurate demand, - Supply Planning Group for short and middle term supply plans of WIP and FG’s, - Material Planning Group for supply of raw material and co-maker items.

Job description:

In the Planning Department, the Supply Planner is responsible for - Supply and demand Planning - Business analysis - Continuous improvement on processes & systems. • KPI • Planning adherence (production, co-packers), Inventory level, Service level (OTIF), E&O risk, Inventory value and inventory turns, Planned production planning changes (changes between frozen and actual planning), TMC (Total Manufacturing Cost), Forecast Accuracy and Bias, NPI on time production • Forecast Accuracy and Bias, NPD on time forecasts/orders • Planning - Responsible for the maintenance of direct forecasts issued by Interco customers and for the information flow between the regions regarding forecasting and inventory needs - Define the weekly and monthly production schedule for all work centers, ensuring optimum utilization of capacity, inventory and minimal set-ups and change-overs while ensuring the targeted service level and taking into account organizational constraints. Includes the execution of priorities. - Synchronizing the internal production schedule with the co-packing schedule and raw material availability. - Assures correct parametrization and integrity of the ERP & planning tools (Infor) - Managing New Product Introduction (trials, capacity, ETD validation & communication) - Responsible for the accurate maintenance of history-based statistical forecast. Lead monthly forecast meeting with Supply Chain Managers in order to build an accurate final forecast. - Liaise with Marketing and Innovation to understand product sales trends & future events that will influence inventory requirements. - Responsible for the maintenance of direct forecasts issued by Interco customers and for the information flow between the regions regarding forecasting and inventory needs. - In charge of monthly forecast accuracy tracking & analysis to support continuous improvement. - Assuring excellent bottom-up and horizontal communication of all relevant information. - Analyse + reporting on KPI’s to define root cause and implement corrective & preventive actions - Propose ideas to optimize E2E supply flow - Backfilling the supply planner for co packing activities

Your profile:

Technical background • High potential passionate planner • Minimum Bachelor or Master’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in planning • Knowledge in ERP systems, Advanced planning solution (capacity and detailed scheduling) and in Excel, Access and Powerpoint • Knowledge of production and S&OP processes • Knowledge continuous improvement tools (ex Lean six sigma, kaizen, …) • English and French or Dutch • Environment with vast number of NPD’s and high seasonality • Food sector • Good planning and prioritisation skills, Change agent and strategy thinker, sense of urgency, hands on, team spirit, problem solving
