Job summary:

The Supply Planner • is responsible for managing the Master Production Planning (MPS) for finished goods for all business channels (retail, wholesale, e-commerce & franchisees). • Is responsible for delivering the Purchase plans for finished goods according to the set targets for inventory and agreements with the vendors (VMI, lead times, volumes,…) • Is responsible for creation of weekly production schedule for pick & pack center in 3PL • is responsible for the optimal use of the advanced planning tool and continuous improvement of the process, balance supply and demand, in order to optimize inventory levels and capacity utilization, and maximize service levels. • is a key member in the Sales & Operations process and provides all necessary input for the monthly supply reviews

Job description:

PRODUCTION PLANNING: • Develop monthly master plans for production, define inventory levels of finished goods, and capacity plans according to set targets; • Responsible for delivering monthly master plans for all pick and pack activities for all work centres, ensuring optimum utilization work centre capacities, optimize inventory levels and reducing set-ups and change-overs, while ensuring the targeted service level; • Monthly MRP cleaning; • Coordinate availability information on out of stocks and back orders. PURCHASE PLANNING: • Base on the defined agreements and strategy with vendors (VMI, safety stock level, lead-time and forecast process, create monthly purchase plans for Finished Goods; • Manage monthly order process with each vendor. Both through the optimal use of the Advanced Planning too. SCHEDULING: • Lead and optimize scheduling process for the pick and pack facility; • Create weekly detailed schedule for production for P&P facility and follow up qualitive and timely output. INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: • Responsible for optimization of stock levels according to the targets set in AOP planning and projections. SALES & OPERATION PROCESS • Lead: weekly planning meeting, monthly supply planning meeting; • Pre-S&OP NPD preparation meeting: take the lead for supply planning and make sure that all supply planning constraints/ information is well included in the NPD planning process. PROJECT AND PROCESS MANAGEMENT • Manage projects related to tool and process implementation and ensuring their optimal use in collaboration with IT department; • Ensure the optimal production planning process and defining/adjusting the process according to the changes in the supply chain; • Maintain relationship with Co Packer and external warehouses; • Develop solid process with material management for material supply for co packers.

Your profile:

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND o Master degree in Business, Operations Planning, Logistics or related field o Min 5 years of experience in Supply Chain o Knowledge of planning concepts and experience in Operations management: inventory management, master scheduling, MRP, bill of materials. o Experience in working with ERP (mandatory) and advanced planning tools (preferred) o Excellent knowledge of Dutch, French & English SOFT SKILLS o People coaching and development: Recognized ability to develop people by effective communication and feedback, setting of clear responsibilities and objectives with individual evaluation and development plan o Customer focus: Demonstrates service oriented attitude under all situations o Leadership: Takes over, recognized as natural leader, rallies, guides and motivates people to results in a changing and ambiguous environment o Communication: Superior communication skills including listening, verbal and written.
