Job summary:

Your job will be to support the Product Marketing Manager with the implementation of multi-channel/single market initiatives in order to contribute to the revenue and profit growth of the Business Unit. The Brand Manager will work closely with the Global Heads of Category as he/she will have to adapt Global Collections to our local markets (main focus on EU Retail as well as on E-commerce or other regions for some local projects…). The objectives are: - have a clear understanding of the local markets, trends and competition; - strengthen the brand identity; - drive sales through product adaptations and launches; - define the go-to-market plan; - offer the best consumer experience

Job description:

The Local Brand Manager will focus on Godiva value proposition through the relevant local channels. When a Product Manager would be more tactical or focusing on the tangible and measurable side of a product, the Brand Manager will oversee the right mind space for the products as well as its perception and customer satisfaction. To achieve this main objective, the Brand Manager is expected to implement the right concepts and have a proper understanding of the related performances. He/she will also partner with both the Head of Visual Merchandising and the Associate Project Manager Graphic Design to create the best value proposition. The main missions will be: • Manage specific product development for your brand (innovation and/or renovation): • adapt global projects or propose new concept specific for local markets; • define product characteristics, pricing, volume forecast; • create marketing tools; • provide go-to-market support as well as post-launch campaign analysis (with key performance indicators analysis). This will require the management of the NPD administration. • Activate key gifting moments through Seasonal Collections relevant for our local markets: Valentine’s, Easter, Christmas but also Diwali, Ramadan or Chinese New Year; • Continually bring in expertise on consumer, category, insights to help the brand move forward in your channel; • Carry-out market analysis, sales monitoring and competitive analysis to provide clear recommendations supported by solid business cases; • Conduct “special projects” that can be related to social media, brand relevance, or corporate business opportunities (non-exhaustive list) and will complement the core responsibilities; • Manage the Marketing budget assigned to the brand for your channel.

Your profile:

• Master degree, preferably in Economics or Marketing • First marketing experience preferably in food (B2C/B2B) or FMCG environment • Strong creative, organisation and planning skills • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to set up solid cross-functional partnerships • Problem solving skills and ability to deal with ambiguity • Team spirit and collaborative mindset • Highly developed communication and presentation skills, fluent in English • Good knowledge of MS Office • International openness and cultural sensitivity • Interest/passion in understanding new trends across consumer behaviour and consumption • Behavioural: eye for detail, entrepreneurial, results driven, flexible, passionate about brands, pragmatic, team player, eager to learn and open-minded, curious and creative mind.
