Quality Assurance Trainee internship





Job summary:

Support the Quality Assurance team in their day to day job and focus on: Support the supplier approval and evaluation program by maintaining approved supplier list, handling of supplier complaints Support the Co-manufacturing program by assisting the trials and first production runs, performing sampling for quality evaluation. Support the material qualification by performing the specification approval

Job description:

1. Foundational responsibilities Supplier Management Maintain the approved supplier list for Co-packers, Co-Makers, External Warehousing, Raw materials, Packaging and Service suppliers Coordinate the supplier audit plan with the third party Review third party audit reports Track corrective action implementation from the supplier Coordinate agenda and supply the pre-requisite information to third party Evaluate supplier performance for quality aspects Co-Manufacturing Management Support production trials and first production run and daily presence at high risk Co-maker Support AQL sampling plan to verify product quality Support the coordination of microbiological sampling Material validation Perform material validation (Co-made products+packaging+ ingredients) in Interspec (PLM) for a quality assurance stand point Non-conformities management Coordinate non-conformities to Co-manufacturers, External Warehousing, Ingredient, Packaging and Service supplier with direct impact on the FSMS through the dedicated tool Coordinate follow-up on implementation of corrective actions for non-conformities Other quality activities Support on various cross-functional projects and take part in joint supply chain projects Assure Procurement-Quality collaboration : Organize regular meetings to follow up suppliers’ performance: report complaints and follow-up on action plan, suppliers’ status and qualifications, issues. Prepare KPI for monitoring supplier performance Support traceability exercises Prepare KPI for OPS review · 2. Customers relationship Internal: Procurement, R&D, Innovation, Packaging Engineer, Logistics, Retail, Marketing, Global Quality Team External: Suppliers RM, PM, Co-makers, Co-packers 3. Project Management: Capability to coordinate work on several projects in parallel Required sense of initiative and autonomy

Your profile:

Fluent in one of the National languages (French/Dutch) and English, including good written expression (being able to correct common spelling / grammar mistakes) Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) advanced knowledges Analytical thinking Methodical and meticulous Organizational skills Ability to work independently and initiate action to deliver required results Strong written and oral communication skills Equivalent to master’s or engineering degree Background in food science and technology
