Job description:

Retail and Franchise: The Account Manager manages the customers in Spain and Portugal, ensures to meet and exceed the budget, ensures a consistent brand development and builds a pipeline for growth in the future and measures risk and opportunities. Puts in place corrective plans in case of risks. Builds a strong relationship with the partners, negotiates the business plan and conducts regular business reviews. Follow-up on the invoicing of the royalties and payments. Organises regular visits to the customer and supports them. Presents innovation, assortment recommendation and follow-up on forecast and orders. Coordinates new POS openings in all their aspects: ·       Writes the Godiva POS opening brief + informs all internal stakeholders ·       Contract ·       Assortment and order recommendation ·       Staff training ·       Store plans and VM ·       Marketing plan GTR: The Account Manager ensures a sell-out and market share growth throughout his/her territory by ensuring implementing of the negotiated animation plans, seizing opportunities in the point of sales, undertaking regular field visit, training the sales staff, controlling the merchandising and developing a strong customer relationships.   Wholesale: The Account Manager leads the wholesale customers trade marketing plans based on the marketing plans and brief from Area Manager. o   Based on marketing presentations, develop the sales presentations for customer. o   Based on learnings from previous launches, develop a customer relevant promotional plan including marketing and trade activities (sampling, hostesses, dipping, GWP PWP ) o   Co responsibility on the quality of execution of all initiatives. o   Responsible for yearly product launch calendar and implementation o   Coordinate with trade marketing team, the customer needs/requests for special extra space and exposure opportunities o   Admin Budget ownership of wholesale TP – Local A&P o   Complexity of issues to deal with : o   Needs to pay a lot of attention to details to ensure faultless executions The Field Account Manager will cntribute to the business unit’s global targets achievements by :   ·       Delivering the sell-out and market share growth targets for GTR and sell-in for domestic ·       Proactively proposing relevant in store support and correcting actions whenever needed (support with merchandising, planograms, etc.) ·       Ensuring the animation plans and promotional activities implementation with excellence ·       Seizing opportunities in the point of sales and anticipating potential issues ·       Hostesses and Brand Ambassadors budget accountability. ·       Training the sales staff taking into consideration each audiences sensitivities ·       Feeding back the AM on his/her market knowledge and insight gathering ·       Building strong links with shop floor and back office personnel ·       Solving efficiently operational issues

Your profile:

·       Bachelor or Master’s degree ·       Minimum 2-3 year experience in a commercial or similar role in a multinational FMCG or Luxury company within Travel Retail ·       Fluent in Spanish and English ·       Good Knowledge of MS Office ·       Strong communication and training/presentation skills ·       Eye for detail ·       Understanding/experience of retail & Food & Beverage desirable ·       Understanding of business dynamics and sensitive to premium market brands ·       Customer focussed and results oriented ·       Ability to build relationships and sensitivity to multicultural environment ·       Strong time and project management (priorities/organizational / planning skills) ·       Problem solving skills ·       Flexible ·       Team player
